When Liselotte, with whom I played togheter in the band Ly Erian - some time ago called and ask me if I would fill in for their singer. There had been already gigs booked and the singer just left the band. I said 'yes' and after the gigs, the band ask me if I would like to stay permanently. This was the beginning of a 10 year blast of touring, recording, writing, art building fun ride.
We played with bands like Pain of Salvation, Evergreen, Lacuna Coil, Planet X, Within Temptation and more. And after 2 demo recordings we started with the mega spectacle Liaison de la Morte.
The album is one song with a running time of almost an hour. We devided it in different chapters dealing with a dark romantic story of an old man and his deceased wife on the night of Halloween.
We made sure when you enterd the venues, we played that you entered the world of the character of the ruler - eternal torment with lots of trapped souls. For this, our manager, the multi talented Inge created together with all of us and over 20 friends, family and volunteers many probs, statues, clothing, masks and many more details to aid the illusion. The "Wave Gothic Treffen" in Berlin was the biggist show we played. We performed for a huge crowed consitent of lots of wierd looking creeps and interesting people.
Peter had to leave the band because of personal reasons, and unfortunately the ballence was disturbed. Lisselotte left the band to take care of her child and due to the many changes in the band and creative imbalance I was not happy anymore. In 2005 I decided that though we had a hell of a good time, this was not a match anymore. The chemestry was gone. But I love looking back on that time and remembering the good times.
